Visual Fan’s Allview Solar Energy, Waldevar Energy Partner for 5.7 MW Project with Autoliv Romania
Visual Fan, through its green energy division Allview Solar Energy, and in partnership with Waldevar Energy, has signed a contract with Autoliv Romania, a global leader in automotive safety systems, to implement a 5.7 MW Full EPC project. This project will deliver comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction services for photovoltaic power plants, to be installed on the ground and on buildings at four Autoliv Romania sites in Brașov, Lugoj, Rovinari, and Sfântu Gheorghe.
For rooftop installations, adhesive membrane mounting systems will be used to avoid surface perforation. Ground installations will employ east-west and south structures to maximize the number of panels in limited spaces. The solution involves Trina Solar photovoltaic panels for high efficiency and performance, along with Huawei three-phase inverters with a European efficiency of 98.8% STC. The photovoltaic systems will include two transformer stations of 2500 kVA and 1250 kVA each.
This project will significantly contribute to green energy generation for Autoliv’s factories, supporting the Swedish group’s sustainability strategy to achieve climate neutrality by 2030 and net-zero emissions throughout its supply chain by 2040. The photovoltaic plants will reduce primary energy consumption by 489 thousand TOE annually, cut carbon emissions by 74,100 tons over the next 20 years, and generate savings of over €17 million in the same period.
Lucian Peticilă, CEO of Visual Fan S.A., stated, “With the growth of Allview Solar Energy, Visual Fan aims to actively contribute to global efforts and EU climate goals for 2050, supporting decarbonization and sustainability initiatives across various industries. We appreciate Autoliv’s trust and are motivated to continue our solar energy development strategy. Efficient management, proper planning, and balanced resource allocation are key elements in ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligations, work quality, and project deadlines.”
Adopting green energy is essential for industrial companies, especially in an unstable economic context. Photovoltaic plants significantly reduce production costs, providing stability against economic fluctuations and greater predictability in development plans. This ambitious project demonstrates Allview Solar Energy’s commitment to promoting renewable energy and strengthening its position in this field.
