Visual Fan completes major solar projects for Autoliv România

Visual Fan, through its renewable energy division Allview Solar Energy, has successfully implemented four major photovoltaic projects for Autoliv România, as announced in a company statement. These full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects were developed at Autoliv divisions in Brașov, Sfântu Gheorghe, Rovinari, and Lugoj to reduce carbon emissions and generate sustainable electricity for internal use.

The projects involved advanced photovoltaic systems installed on both ground and rooftops, employing cutting-edge technologies and customized solutions for each site. Ground-mounted systems utilized metal structures with 2P configurations, secured with driven posts, while rooftop installations featured hot-welded structures on PVC waterproof membranes. Real-time monitoring systems ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

Autoliv România's photovoltaic facilities are expected to significantly decrease CO2 emissions, aligning with European sustainability standards. Each kWh of solar energy offsets 0.3-0.5 kg of CO2 compared to traditional thermal power generation.

Lucian Peticilă, CEO of Visual Fan, emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting industrial partners in transitioning to green energy. “These projects highlight our capacity to deliver comprehensive and customized solutions for a greener future,” Peticilă stated, adding plans for expanding their renewable portfolio to over 5 MW by 2025.

Autoliv, Inc. (NYSE: ALV; Nasdaq Stockholm: ALIV.sdb), the global leader in automotive safety systems, continues to push sustainability initiatives. In 2023, the company reported $10.5 billion in sales and life-saving impacts, with 35,000 lives saved and 450,000 injuries mitigated.
