Romania's Monsson Group has unveiled the nation's largest electricity storage system, developed by Prime Batteries Technology, in Constanta County. The 24 MWh storage unit, part of a broader 216 MWh project alongside the Mireasa Wind Park and Galbiori solar park, aims to mitigate renewable energy production volatility and enhance grid stability. This installation marks a significant advancement in integrating renewable energy sources, leveraging local engineering talent and innovation. Scheduled for full grid connection by end-2024, the project positions Romania as a leader in energy storage solutions within Europe, demonstrating a significant commitment to sustainable energy development.
