Turkey's ENSIA to Showcase Wind Energy Strength at WindEnergy Hamburg Fair
The Energy Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (ENSIA) will represent Turkey at the prestigious WindEnergy Hamburg Fair, taking place from September 24-27. The event, which is expected to draw over 1,500 companies and 40,000 visitors, will highlight Turkey's growing role in the wind energy sector.
ENSIA Chairman Alper Kalaycı emphasized Turkey's position as a global wind energy player, with an installed capacity exceeding 12,000 MW as of August 2024. Turkey ranks 12th globally and 5th in Europe in wind power. "We aim to ensure Turkish companies have a say in every stage of the wind industry," Kalaycı stated, expressing high expectations for the event.
ENSIA’s pavilion will host key sector players, including Enisolar, Hamax, Gülermak, Tibet Makina, Kompotek Kompozit, Trio Kompozit, EnconIQ, GENBA, Ateş Çelik, Bureau Veritas, Eneres Enerji, Xgen, and Arnes Europe. The association aims to use this global platform to showcase Turkey's potential and add value to its member companies.
WindEnergy Hamburg is a major international platform, and ENSIA's participation underscores Turkey's ambitions to strengthen its presence in the wind energy industry.
