Turkey Imposes Tariffs on PV Module Imports from Five Countries
Turkey has announced new tariffs on imported PV modules from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Croatia, and Jordan, imposing a $25 per square meter duty. This move, part of an anti-dumping investigation, aims to safeguard Turkey's domestic solar module industry. Previously, a $20/m2 tariff was applied to panels imported from China. The Turkish government's decision has been welcomed by local industry associations.
