Big Challenge – Big Victory: 100 MW of Solar Energy in 11 Months in Jeziorko, Poland!

The Jeziorko project is a true pride for the Ukrainian company Solar Steelconstruction (SSK). To build a 100 MW solar power plant in Poland in a record-breaking time of 11 months, the SSK team had to demonstrate their diligence, courage, and perseverance. The year 2023 was especially challenging for
any Ukrainian business due to power outages, blocked Polish borders, a shortage of workers, and daily rocket attacks.
A sense of duty and responsibility to our client helped us make effective decisions and persevere through difficulties. We are constantly grateful to our foreign partners and clients for their faith in Ukraine and SolarSK.

Yevhen Yaremenko, CEO of SolarSK, proudly recalls the project: “Solar Steelconstruction has an impeccable reputation after 11 years in the solar energy sector. This project
was challenging, and overcoming it helped strengthen both our partnerships and our self-belief.”

Project Details:
 Location: Jeziorko, Poland.
 Capacity: 100 MW.
 181 818 PV modules.
 70 143 driven piles.
 Mounting system made of hot-dip galvanized steel of our own production: SMS-212L.
 Implementation period: 11 months.

“The Jeziorko project not only showcases advanced technology and efficient execution but also marks a significant step towards a more ecological and sustainable future. The most challenging tasks were laying the cable under the road and river, requiring high expertise and coordinated teamwork,” notes
Olexander Teslenko, Director of Solar Power Plant Construction.

This success clearly demonstrates the ability of Ukrainian companies to compete effectively on the international stage, even in the face of significant difficulties. It confirms that with the right motivation and support, the most ambitious ideas can be realized. We believe that our cooperation with partners in
Poland and other European countries will continue, bringing new successes and contributing to the development of solar energy and the strengthening of international ties.
