Slovenia confirms coal phaseout date in updated NECP
Slovenia has updated its national energy and climate plan with increased targets for renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The country aims to reach 33% renewable energy share and cut greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2033. Public consultation on the final plan is ongoing. Minister Bojan Kumer highlighted the emphasis on affordable energy efficiency and coal phaseout.
