Simtel Team Secures €12.2 Million for Major Solar Project in Romania, Eyes Expansion and Market Growth

Romanian engineering firm Simtel Team has been awarded a €12.2 million grant from the EU's National Recovery and Resilience Plan for a 52 MW solar project in Giurgiu, signaling a strong move towards renewable energy in Romania.

The company, known for its turnkey photovoltaic solutions and substantial investments in solar energy, plans to finance the remainder of the project with its funds and loans, aiming for completion within a year.

Simtel Team's growth is evident from its recent accomplishments, including the largest rooftop solar plant in Romania and a significant increase in serviced solar capacity in France. With a portfolio set to exceed the 86 MWp installed in 2023 and a market capitalization that soared 38% since the end of last year, Simtel Team is poised for further expansion in renewables and innovative energy solutions.
