Simtel Team Launches New Energy Storage Line to Enhance Sustainability

Simtel Team, a leading engineering and technology group, has announced the launch of a new business line dedicated to energy storage systems, according to a press release. The initiative aims to address growing energy management needs while supporting the transition to renewable energy and creating a sustainable energy system.

Mihai Tudor, CEO and Executive Board Member of Simtel Team, emphasized the significance of energy storage for efficient resource management and long-term energy stability. “Our advanced technologies maximize energy use, reduce losses, and enable full control over energy consumption. These systems optimize costs, improve storage management, and deliver predictable, stable energy solutions tailored to each client’s needs,” Tudor stated.

The business line offers integrated solutions spanning consultancy, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), commercial operation, service, and maintenance. Central to the offering are BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), which store renewable energy for use during peak demand. These systems range from small-scale residential applications under 10 kWh to commercial and industrial solutions up to 1 MWh and large-scale projects for energy producers.

Simtel’s solutions enhance revenue by storing surplus energy during overproduction and utilizing predictive algorithms to minimize costs. The systems also provide grid stabilization, support secondary regulation services, and ensure operational resilience in critical situations.

Currently, Simtel is constructing five energy storage parks with a total capacity of 200 MWh, scheduled for phased completion by the end of 2026. This year, the company also secured two strategic partnerships to strengthen its presence in the energy storage sector.
