R.Power Commissions 10 MWp PV Farm in Wielkopolska, Expands Solar Portfolio in Poland
R.Power has launched a new 10 MWp photovoltaic power plant in Mutowo, Wielkopolska, marking the company's eighth solar farm in Szamotuły County. The installation spans over 11 hectares and features more than 18,000 photovoltaic modules, each with a power rating of 550 Wp. The plant employs single-axis solar trackers to optimize energy generation.
The estimated annual electricity production of the Mutowo plant is set at 12 GWh. Maintenance and service operations will be handled by Nomad Electric Services. This development follows the recent commissioning of a similar 10 MWp PV installation by R.Power in Lubaczów, Podkarpacie, which shares nearly identical specifications with the Mutowo project.
In the last few months, R.Power has also inaugurated another photovoltaic farm in Dramino, West Pomeranian Voivodeship. As one of Poland's largest independent energy producers, the company aims to achieve over 1 GWp of installed photovoltaic capacity by 2025, with active projects across Poland, Romania, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Germany.
