Polish Municipality Opens Lease for Photovoltaic Farm Development
The mayor of the Pomiechówek Commune has announced the availability of land for leasing, aimed at the development of a photovoltaic farm.
The lease covers an area of approximately 2 hectares, situated in the village of Nowy Modlin. The selected location benefits from optimal sun exposure and proximity to existing infrastructure, making it ideal for solar energy projects. Interested parties are invited to submit proposals that include detailed plans for the photovoltaic installation, expected energy output, and long-term maintenance strategies.
Municipal officials emphasize that the project is open to both domestic and international investors. The lease agreement will span 29 years, providing a stable and long-term investment opportunity. Proposals will be evaluated based on their technical feasibility, financial viability, and environmental impact.
This move aligns with Poland's broader efforts to increase its renewable energy capacity. According to the Mayor of the Pomiechówek Commune, the initiative not only supports the country's energy transition goals but also stimulates local economic development.
The application deadline for interested investors is set for September 30, 2024. A public information session will be held on August 15, 2024, to address any queries and provide further details about the project.
