MN8 Secures $325 Million Investment to Accelerate Growth in Solar and EV Charging Projects
MN8 Energy, a leading US solar power producer, has successfully closed a $325 million private placement, bolstering its expansion efforts in solar, storage, and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
The investment includes $200 million from Mercuria Energy Group and $125 million from Ridgewood Infrastructure, with both investors set to take on significant roles within MN8's governance structure.
This strategic infusion of capital, alongside a partnership with Mercuria to explore future energy solutions, positions MN8 for substantial growth. Having transitioned to an independent entity from Goldman Sachs Asset Management in 2022, MN8 now operates a vast solar fleet and is advancing towards sustainable energy and transportation solutions across the US.
