JSC Atsinaujinančios Energetikos Investicijos Sells Polish Solar Portfolio to UK Investor

JSC Atsinaujinančios Energetikos Investicijos has sold its 100% stake in Energy Solar Projekty, a portfolio of photovoltaic farms in Poland with a total capacity of 66 MW, to a British investment management company specializing in renewable energy infrastructure. The solar installations, operational since 2020, mark the company’s first divestment.

Grėtė Bukauskaitė, Director of JSC Atsinaujinančios Energetikos Investicijos, highlighted the sale as a milestone, demonstrating the potential of the Polish renewable energy market and completing the full investment cycle from construction to divestment.

JSC Atsinaujinančios Energetikos Investicijos acquired the portfolio in 2018, financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Bank Pekao. Despite the sale, the company remains active in Poland with 190 MW of photovoltaic projects and operates three wind farms in Lithuania with a total capacity of 186 MW. The company is also expanding its renewable energy footprint in Lithuania and Latvia.

Managed by Lords LB Asset Management, JSC Atsinaujinančios Energetikos Investicijos is part of a broader portfolio encompassing 14 real estate funds, one private equity fund, one energy fund, and three investment companies. Lords LB Asset Management reported total assets of EUR 1.341 billion as of June 2024.
