Indielux, EPP Solar to Launch Plug-in Photovoltaic Systems with Storage in Five European Markets
German companies Indielux and EPP Solar are set to introduce a plug-in photovoltaic (PV) system with energy storage to the European market, promising simplified installation and high output power of up to 6 kWp. The product will be available in Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Poland starting December this year.
The kit includes bifacial PV modules, a Growatt WR SPH 3000 TL_BL_UP inverter, lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) energy storage with a base capacity of 5.1 kWh (expandable to 25.6 kWh), and the Ready2plugin monitoring device for safe operation. Manufacturers emphasize the system’s ease of use, aiming to meet average household energy needs with minimal setup complexity.
Prices for the kits start at EUR 4,700, likely for a 3 kW system with the base storage capacity. While some view this as a revolutionary product, critics argue it resembles existing balcony PV systems. Questions remain about the suitability of bifacial modules in standard residential setups and the lack of detailed technical specifications from Indielux and EPP Solar.
Potential buyers can register their interest on the companies’ websites to receive updates ahead of the product’s launch.
