Impact Clean Power Technology Launches Europe's Most Advanced Battery Production Line

Impact Clean Power Technology (IMPACT), a top European manufacturer of advanced battery systems for heavy transport, construction machinery, and large-scale energy storage, has launched Europe’s most modern, automated lithium-ion battery production line at its GigafactoryX. The new facility will increase production capacity from 0.6 to 1.2 GWh in 2024, with plans to reach 4 GWh in the future.

According to CEO Ireneusz Kazimierski, IMPACT's battery systems offer high energy density and safety, enhanced by their proprietary Battery Management System (BMS). The new line, featuring 22 stations and Bosch Rexroth TS7 technology, will boost production from 2,500 to 16,000 batteries annually, producing a battery for heavy transport every 11 minutes. The facility is certified with IATF 16949:2016, ensuring compliance with global automotive standards.

Ninoslav Sotirov, Vice President of the Management Board, highlighted that the new production line positions IMPACT among lithium-ion gigafactories, ready to meet large-scale orders.

IMPACT’s products, used in over 4,200 e-buses covering 170 million kilometers without safety incidents, emphasize the company’s focus on safety. The company is part of Grenevia Group, with strategic investments from TDJ.
