HT Solar Installs First Domestically Produced Flexible Solar Panels in Eskişehir
HT Solar, a subsidiary of Chinese HT-SAAE that began operations in 2016, has achieved a milestone by mass-producing Turkey's first flexible solar panels this year. The company installed its first flexible panels in Eskişehir, a project marking a significant innovation in solar technology.
The installation involved 30 flexible solar panels, each with a power output of 450W, covering 120 m² of roof space. These panels are expected to generate 15,000 kWh annually, translating to savings of approximately 65,000 TL per year. Emre Kulaç, HT Solar's Deputy General Manager, highlighted that these panels are 80% lighter than standard panels, weighing just 6.5 kilograms. Their unique adhesive application eliminates the need for drilling or screwing, reducing installation costs and allowing deployment on diverse surfaces.
HT Solar also ensures product reliability, offering a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year power output warranty. The flexible panels feature Anti-PID technology, protecting against deterioration under high voltage and humid conditions.
