Germany awards 2.23 GW in PV tender, with lowest bid of €0.0362/kWh
The Bundesnetzagentur in Germany has assigned 2,234 MW of utility-scale solar PV capacity in its latest tender, surpassing the initial target of 2,231 MW. The auction, which was oversubscribed with 569 proposals for 4,100 MW, saw the average price fall to €0.0511/kWh from the ceiling price of €0.0737/kWh. This capacity was spread across 326 bids, highlighting strong competition and interest in Germany's solar infrastructure projects.
