Enstall Acquires German Solar Mounting Provider Schletter Group, Expands in Southeast Europe
Enstall, a specialist in rooftop solar mounting solutions, has announced the acquisition of German firm Schletter Group, marking its entry into the ground-mounted solar segment. The deal, expected to close by year-end, is subject to regulatory approvals. Current owners, Avenue Capital Group and Robus Capital Management, will retain a minority stake in Enstall, which was acquired by Blackstone and Rivean Capital in 2022.
Stein Vos, CEO of Enstall, expressed enthusiasm for combining expertise with Schletter, a long-standing leader in solar mounting in Germany, to accelerate solar deployment globally. Schletter, headquartered in Kirchdorf, Bavaria, has delivered over 55 GW of solar installations worldwide, with products designed for roofs, facades, carports, and ground-mounted systems. The company has received over 105 patents and continues to innovate in solar tracking and mounting technology.
Florian Roos, CEO of Schletter Group, highlighted the potential for joint innovation and a broader product portfolio through the partnership. Schletter is set to expand its operations significantly in Southeast Europe, having participated in the Belgrade Energy Forum 2024. The company is already active in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Slovenia, aiming to strengthen its regional presence through partnerships with local firms and institutions. The acquisition will also bolster Enstall’s position in Germany and Central Europe.
