DMEGC Solar's Infinity N-series Modules Meet VDE SPEC 90038 Standard, Advancing PV Technology
DMEGC Solar has announced that its Infinity and Infinity RT N-series photovoltaic modules have successfully met the requirements of the VDE SPEC 90038 standard.
The VDE SPEC 90038 standard, recently introduced in the German-speaking photovoltaic market, is designed as a Solar Module Quality Standard (SMQS) to establish uniform quality criteria for PV module manufacturing and testing. Developed by an expert group, the standard comprises three sections: production and documentation requirements, testing procedures ensuring module efficiency, and production conditions maintaining long-term quality.
In 2023, DMEGC Solar partnered with TÜV Rheinland to perform extended endurance testing based on IEC TS 63209-1:2021 and later passed TÜV Rheinland’s bankability protocol, including tests for LETID and UVID. These tests, incorporated into VDE SPEC 90038, bolster confidence in module durability.
With over 44 years in the industry and cumulative global module shipments exceeding 45 GW by mid-2024, DMEGC Solar has reaffirmed its position among the top ten global module suppliers. Its efforts align with sustainability goals, offering reliable and efficient solutions for global PV system operators, investors, and insurers.
