CW Enerji Completes 2,196.35 kW Solar Plant Installation in Antalya
CW Enerji has successfully completed the installation of a 2,196.35-kilowatt peak (kWp) solar power plant on the roof of a factory in Antalya, the company announced. The project will prevent approximately 1,442,343 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions annually, equivalent to the amount absorbed by 218 trees each year.
CW Enerji CEO Volkan Yılmaz, sharing his views in the company’s statement, emphasized the significance of solar energy in addressing future energy needs. "Solar energy plants stand out among the energy solutions of the future with their environmentally friendly structures, economic advantages, and sustainability," Yılmaz said. "Rapidly increasing solar energy plants play an important role in meeting our energy needs as one of the most important steps in the transition to clean and renewable energy."
He further noted the growing interest in solar power plants due to their numerous benefits. "We have completed the installation of a 2,196.35-kilowatt peak power solar power plant on the roof of a company operating in Antalya. With this project, the company will prevent approximately 1 million 442 thousand 343 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions per year. This amount is equivalent to the amount of carbon dioxide removed from the atmosphere by 218 trees annually."
