Columbus Energy Group Sells 6.25 MW Photovoltaic Projects to Nyx Renewable Energy for EUR 1 Million
Columbus Energy subsidiary, CE Super JV Alternatywna Spółka Inwestycyjna, has sold 100% of shares in seven special purpose vehicles (SPVs) managing photovoltaic farm projects to Nyx Renewable Energy, part of the GoldenPeaks Capital Group. The transaction, valued at EUR 1 million, involves a total capacity of 6.25 MW. Payment for the deal is expected within 30 days.
This sale marks the first tranche of a larger transaction under preliminary agreements signed on May 9, 2024. Columbus Energy is set to sell 19 SPVs with 30 photovoltaic projects, totaling 28,077 MW, to Nyx Renewable Energy by the end of 2024.
Dawid Zieliński, CEO of Columbus Energy, noted that the projects sold are at the "ready to build" (RtB) stage, with all required permits in place. Proceeds from this transaction will support further development of Columbus Energy’s operations, particularly in relation to the Clean Air program.
