Bulgaria Launches Tenders Worth BGN 535.1M for 1,425MW Renewable Power and 350MW BESS, Offering Up to 50% Cost Coverage

Ministry of energy - Bulgaria has initiated two tenders totaling BGN535.1 million to add 1,425MW of renewable power and 350MW of battery energy storage systems (BESS) to its grid, aiming to boost clean energy share, with funding for solar, wind, and BESS projects ranging from 200kW to 2MW capacities, offering up to 50% cost coverage.
