Arctech to Supply SkyLine II Solar Trackers for 125 MW Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Arctech, a global leader in solar tracking and racking solutions, has signed a supply agreement with NORINCO International, a subsidiary of China North Industries Corporation, to deliver its flagship 1P single-axis solar tracking system, SkyLine II, for a 125 MW solar project in Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). This partnership marks a significant milestone for Arctech's expansion in the European solar market.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in Southeastern Europe, benefits from an average annual solar radiation of 1,500 kWh/m², offering vast potential for utility-scale solar development. According to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the country could achieve photovoltaic power generation capacity of up to 3 GW by 2030. The BiH Energy Framework Strategy 2035 outlines ambitious targets for renewable energy integration into the national grid.
Arctech began its European operations in 2013, establishing a local office in Madrid, Spain. Over the years, the company has enhanced its regional presence with a service center, R&D hub, and warehouse in Spain. In November 2024, Arctech inaugurated a new European headquarters in Madrid. The company now offers comprehensive lifecycle services, including solution design, delivery assurance, and O&M, to support energy transitions in Europe.
NORINCO International praised Arctech’s innovative products, global supply chain, and experience with GW-scale projects, expressing confidence in this collaboration.
