Alfa Solar's New 17,000 kWp Plant Begins Operations in Afyon, Targets Annual Savings of 100 Million TL

Alfa Solar Energy Industry and Trade Inc. (ALFAS) has announced the commissioning of its new solar power plant in Sandıklı District, Afyon Province, as of August 20, 2024. The company initially disclosed its plans on December 6, 2022, aiming to establish the plant under the unlicensed electricity production regulation to meet its own energy needs.

With a capacity of 17,000 kWp, the solar power plant is projected to generate approximately 26 million kWh of electricity annually. This production is expected to result in annual savings of around 100,000,000.00 TL, based on current electricity prices. The plant's installation was recently completed, and it has successfully passed its temporary acceptance, allowing it to begin operations immediately.

This development marks a significant step for Alfa Solar in reducing its energy costs and enhancing its sustainability efforts. The company shared this milestone in a public statement through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), highlighting its ongoing commitment to energy efficiency and self-sufficiency.
